What I am Watching

With getting DVR this year, I can cram more TV shows into the same timeframe. I even can follow some shows that I wouldn't have if I had to set the VCR. So here is what I have set for this season:

Monday:

How I Met Your Mother: This has been ok so far. Some good funny moments for sure, and a nice twist on the end of the first show.

Tuesday:

My Name is Earl: This so far has been a really funny show, and truely different than anything else out there. Probably the only new show of this year I would try and catch every week if I didn't have DVR.

Wednesday:

Lost: Of course this makes it. I started watching this show a little late last year, but with getting the first season through Netflix both me and the missus are caught up.

Invasion: On after Lost so it got added on. Out of the three new Sci-fi-ish shows this year (Threshold and Surface) this looked like it had the most promise. So far pretty Lukewarm on it, but will stick with it a little longer

Thursday:

Smallville: Fifth season this year. Last year they graduated High School so hoping for a little more Superman vs teen Clark. The first episode was really good with introducing both the Fortress of Solitude and the Phantom Zone. It also felt like an early transition into the movies.(Same look) Brainiac and Aquaman are also making an appearance later this year. The biggest problem with this show is why would Clark fall for Lana (Kristen Kreuk) over Clhoe (Allison Mack).

Friday:

Threshold: Another Sci-fi show with Aliens changing humans into them to colonize the planet. This started off a little sluggish but has gotten better. It also has Data in it so that earns it some bonus points.

Saturday:

Teen Titans: A little too manga for me at times, but still a pretty good show.

Justice League Unlimited: This is not the Superfriends! Every year this show has gotten better and better and there is no better cartoon about super heroes ever made. Last season floored me and this season so far hasn't disappointed yet.

Sunday:

Desperate Housewives: What can I say, but the better 3/4 got me into this, and I am glad she did. I assumed from the title what this show would be, but it was so much better.

Honorable Mentions: I didn't mention Monk, Dead Zone, SG1, Atlantis, or Battlestar Galatica since they are in Hiatus until Jan. It is nice to see Cable stations able to make great shows.

Well, since I'm the missus, I guess I can have a say here. I also got you to watch that Ty Pennington show, and you got me into watching Lost. Fair and balanced? pro'lly not! :o)
