New Star Trek?
What would a all new Star Trek series be like, ignoring all the previous things down and starting in a new universe. Including all the good things already done and ignoring the bad? Throw in J Michael Stracynzki (Babylon 5) and Bryce Zabel (Dark Skies) and this is what it could have been.
I for one would have watched it.

I'm not saying that they stole anything... but Stracynzki pitched Babylon 5 to the makers of Star Trek's network and was turned down. Later they announced Deep Space 9.
Watch the pilots for both shows. We have a new captain, haunted by his past in the war. A space station serving as a diplomatic base. A female first officer that saves the station from distruction. Etc...
Yeah and Deep Space Nine is the best of the Trek's in my opinion!
