They've publically admitted to having sex with eachother if that's what you're implying.

"Publicly admitted?" OK, then my guess is for "sheets."

Little Wars Day 3

Today we got up and went for some breakfast at IHOP. The Geese almost got me there. But they will have to wait for another year to pass for their next shot at me.

I also got to play some Hydro Thunder in the Hotel's game room! Been along time since I played that last.

The ride home consisted of ideas for next year's game that LOG would run, oh and making fun of Dieter of course.

All in all a great weekend and many more stories that will turn into legends for future Little Wars. Seth not having his figs done until the night before, Cole spending the baby's food money, Dieter, a Markgraf wrestling match. Not to mention the pig story and the three fingered handshake. 'Nough said about that.

Anytime we see Dieter at a game we say Do you hear that sound? Thats the Life being Sucked out of that game. This guy Argued with Duke 2years ago about the rules in Duke's game. Duke wrote the rules!

Little Wars Day 2

Today LOG had a game at 9am so another early morning to get going. This time around the game had a problem, Dieter.

He was muttering often how the game sucked, and whining how his troops got routed scraping their knee. After a talking to though he shut up pretty much much the rest of the game. So now Chad is adding to the beginning of his introduction, "No Cheaters or Dieters". He definately was the tool of the weekend.

Here are a couple games that looked great:

And then there was this one. Hey guess what...its under $20. Really?

After that though we hit the swap some more, had some con food, and some more beers. By dinner time we headed to Hooters for some wings (Grilled cheese with pickle rubbed on top for Seth) and just hung out for the rest of the night.

Yeah, Paper mechs! If they would have just spent a little more time and color the edges it might have been passable. But when compared to the volcano, why even bother.

I'm Dieter and I'm hot. You LOG members are a bunch of Blödes arschlochs. And I pull your Pimmels with my teeth.

Little Wars 2006 Day 1

First day of Little Wars started off early so we could get there in time for LOG's (League of Ordinary Gentlemen) first game at 2PM. To the left is Karl, Chad, Tom, Ray, Seth and Cole.

They were running a game from the opening scenes of New Hope. They recreated the Corellian Corvette.
It comes apart in 4 different decks that are run at the same time. The players can send their troops between levels. It was safe to say that everyone had a great time.

Here is a picture of Leia's secret room. Wookie porn anyone? Poor Chicken!

After the game was over we did some bargain hunting in the swap shop and vendor area, then heading for dinner at BD's Mongolian Barbeque. We go there every year and it never disappoints. After dinner we headed back to the hotel and enjoyed a warm night drinking cold beer.

I Like "Like"

Remember Like Cola and Like-Free Cola? I saw a Like Semi Trailer today and it brought back memories. I think people's reaction to the cola was "Like-free."

Check out the commercial if you have Real Player!

I liked Pepsi Light, with a little lemony taste and 1/2 the calories. I remember there being a Like Cola, but I don't think I ever tried it.

Surily, You Can't Be Surious

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes had their baby last night, namd Suri.
Mother and daughter, who weighed in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 20 inches at birth, were both "doing well," Cruise's publicist, Paul Bloch, said in a statement. The name Suri has its origins in Hebrew, meaning "princess," or Persian, meaning "red rose," the statement said.

It's nice to have meanings in names, since "Tom Cruise" has origins in Scientology and means "psycho" or "lunatic" in today's English.

Star Wars Video Suit Settled

Sci Fi.com reports that the law suit is settled between Ghyslain Raza and the students who put the video up.

I think this lawsuit is ridiculous. He is internet famous now he should revel in it. A kid as dorky as him will never be this cool any other way. The various videos with music and special effects are what every Star Wars geek imagines.

He isn't as cool as me of course!

Oh So That Is All That It Takes?

Today Madison passed a referendum to Bring the Troops Home. So I guess that means they will be on the plane home tomorrow eh?

Other referendum issues voted by Madison and passed are:

Changing the harsh red color of Mars to a more pleasant color of Mauve

Gravity changing from 9.8 N to 9.45 N

All bunny rabbits receiving opposible thumbs

Madison becoming the capitol of the US

I'd love to lose a few extra pounds but I think if they decrease gravity I'll still be just as fat. :(

The great thing about this referendum being the focus is that the Madison government isn't focusing on Madison. These are the people that have brought the smoking ban, requiremnts for new apartments to accomodate low income families, mandatory sick pay for even part time employees and increasing the minimum wage in Madison above the state's. Now that the war thing has passed I shudder as to what is next.

It is telling that the Madison gov't isn't focused on Madison. In some ways it is an extension of Federalism (which is a conservative concept-that the States will be a "lab" for social change that will boil (up?)down to the national level). Cities will make decisions that may or may not be accepted statewide. States will then decide what the nation will do.
